Tuesday 6th October

Round 1 - Day 2

Wes Newton v Jamie Caven – 6.10pm

Wes Newton and Jamie Caven get the action started on day 2 of the Skybet World Grand Prix with both showing some decent form. Caven has two PDC Pro Tour wins to his credit but fell short of a third on Sunday, going down to a narrow 6-5 defeat in the semi final to tonight’s opponent Wes Newton, who eventually lost in the final to Phil Taylor. It was Newton’s second Players Championship final in two months and also a second defeat to Taylor in two days, as they met in the quarter finals of event 1 a day earlier, with Taylor progressing 6-3. If Newton can continue the darts he was playing at the weekend he has to be in with a squeak and at 2.25, he’s worth a punt.

4 pts on Wes Newton at 2.25 with Bet 365. Click here to place your bet!
