Lille still have a chance to finish as high as 4th in the table, but only a win in this match would enable them to achieve this. Les Dogues must make sure they do the business here and just hope that other results go their way. It might be that they end up celebrating a European position come the final whistle so everything is to play for at Le Stade Metropole.

They should be able to beat Nancy who will probably approach this match fairly relaxed. The visitors are now safe from relegation so have no worries about avoiding the drop. They lost last weekend at home to Marseille, ending a run of 6 unbeaten matches.

So I think Pablo Correia’s men have probably lost a lot of their momentum and I doubt they’ll be able to match Lille’s extra motivation or intensity here. I personally think that this is a straightforward match which should end up as an easy home win. The odds aren’t especially impressive but I simply have to back the hosts in this one.
