Grenoble v Sochaux

Sochaux need just a point to confirm their ligue 1 status and they appear to have a decent chance of obtaining it at Le Stade des Alpes.

Their opponents can be hard to beat, but have little motivation anymore and can afford to relax. For Grenoble, its been a very good season and a victory here could even see them finish up inside the top 10  positions. But I feel they’ll struggle to match the intensity of Sochaux and the visitors should get the draw that they need.

One worry for Francois Gillot’s men is their poor road form, and they travel here having lost 5 consecutive away games. Les Lionceux will need to end that poor run in the province of Isere, but if they play like that have been doing recently then they should have few problems.

I expect this’ll be a close tight game containing few goals. Under 2.5 is definitely my preferred choice, I cant see it being much of a classic.
